Healthy Recipes: Breakfast

Personally you can never go wrong with a smoothie bowl, they're delicious and fun to make. There's so many different flavors and combinations you can create and they're totally Instagram worthy! I'm a tropical flavor kind of person so mango, pineapple, strawberry and coconut are my best friends, if you like tropical flavors as well then this recipe is for you, if you want to try something new then try this!


Mango Pineapple Tropical Smoothie Bowl: - 2 Frozen Bananas

- 1 Cup of Frozen Mango

- 1 Cup of Frozen Pineapple Chunks

- 1/2 cup of Almond Milk

If it isn't sweet enough for your taste add as much honey or agave as desired

Toppings:

- Granola

- Chia Seeds

- Coconut Flakes

When I have early morning practice or it's game day, I always make my go-to high protein oatmeal. If you're allergic to nuts, please do not make this recipe. I will post another recipe for those with peanut allergies or you're welcome to try this recipe as well :)


Peanut Butter Banana Chia Oatmeal

- 2 tbsp Peanut Butter or another nut butter

- 1 tsp Cinnamon

- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds

- 1/2 cup Quick Oats

- 1 cup Vanilla Almond Milk


Toppings

- 1 Sliced Banana

- 1 tsp Chia Seeds


OR



Coconut Blueberry Oatmeal

- 1/2 cup Quick Oats

- 1 cup Vanilla Almond Milk

- 3 tsp of Honey

- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds


Toppings

- Fresh fruits (blueberries and blueberries)

- dried Cranberries

- Coconut Flakes

If I feel like having a bit of a light breakfast or I'm in a rush to go, I have this parfait with a banana and some orange juice

Breakfast Parfait

- Greek Yogurt

- Granola

- Sliced Almonds

- Agave or Honey

- Pumpkin Seeds

- Strawberries

- Blackberries
